    Murphy also grinds his teeth, and while the sound is extremely chill-inducing at first, you do get used to it, lol. And from what I remember when asking Danielle about it when he first started doing it, it isn’t anything to be concerned about. We haven’t found any way to prevent it or stop him from doing it, and his teeth are in good condition – just one of those odd behaviours! Not much help, since I don’t really have any advice on how to stop it, sorry!

    Our Murphy was a digger for a period of time when he was younger. Someone (I can’t remember who) recommended filling the holes they make and their most common ‘digging spots’ with their own poop. We would just pick up a poop from the yard, put it in the hole and cover the hole back over with dirt. It totally worked. He stopped digging, and even now when he has a digging flashback, I just do the same thing and he stops. Now, he wasn’t a poop eater, so that worked for us. If Merlin is a poop eater, this may or may not work. Maybe worth a try though? 🙂
